Teacher and student start walking at MC LIbrary headed toward BES on International Walk to School Day

Walking to school is COOL!🚶‍♂️

What a fun and healthy way to start the day! Today, Benton Elementary students, families, and staff celebrated International Walk to School Day (October 1st) by meeting at the Marshall County Public Library in Benton and walking several blocks together to school.

There were lots of smiles, good conversations, and great energy along the way! We’re so proud of our students and families for making healthy choices and enjoying time together as a school community.

Happy International Walk to School Day, Benton Elementary! Keep walking, keep smiling, and remember—walking to school is COOL! 👟🧡💙
